The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

The film was released in 2009. The film was directed by Terry Gilliam and the main cast includes Heath Ledger, Christopher Plummer, Verne Troyer, Andrew Garfield, Lily Cole, Tom Waits, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Jude Law. Due to the passing away of Ledger, he can only complete the two-third of the complete film, and therefore, his role was portrayed by Depp, Law, and Farrell.
This was the last film of Heath Ledger, during filming Ledger dies, left his role incomplete which was later completed by Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell. The story of the film revolves around Doctor Parnassus who made a deal with the Devil, to get away from a deal which he made hundreds of years ago.
The Patriot

The film was released in 2000. The film was directed by Roland Emmerich and the main cast includes Mel Gibson, Chris Cooper, Heath Ledger, and Jason Isaacs.
The story of the film revolves around Captain Benjamin Martin, a veteran of the French and Indian War and during the American Revolutionary War in 1776. Ledger portrays the role of his son, Corporal Gabriel Martin who is being imprisoned by the British Dragoons for the charge of spying with the intention of hanging. For the opposing of his imprisonment, his second son, Thomas Martin shot dead, and the order of burning down Martin’s house has been passed by the British officials. From here, the story of Benjamin taking revenge for his deceased son and his burnt house.

Brokeback Mountain

The film was released in 2005. The film was directed by Ang Lee and the main cast includes Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway, and Michelle Williams.
The film was set in 1963, its the story of two homosexual persons and their struggle to live in society. Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist, portrayed by two protagonists, are hired by Joe Aguirre to herd his sheep through the summer. After a night of heavy drinking, Jack makes a pass at a hesitant Ennis, and Ennis eventually positively responds to Jack’s advances. Ennis tells Jack that it was a one-time incident, but they soon develop a passionate sexual and emotional relationship. But, Jack wants to live a life with Ennis, who is unwilling to abandon his family.
Casanova

The film was released in 2005. The film was directed by and the main cast includes Heath Ledger as Giacomo Casanova, opposite Sienna Miller. This film is loosely based on the life of Giacomo Casanova, a famous Italian adventurer, and womanizer.
The story of the film is about Casanova, who after failing to win the affection of the Venetian woman Francesca Bruni, strives to discover the real meaning of love.
10 Things I Hate About You

The film was released in 1999. The film was directed by Gil Junger and the main cast includes Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Larisa Oleynik.
The film is based on and the high-school modernization of Shakespeare’s late-16th-century comedy “The Taming of the Shrew”. In the story, new student Cameron is smitten with Bianca and, in order to get around her father’s strict rules on dating, attempts to get bad boy Patrick to date Bianca’s ill-tempered sister, Kat, knowing that Kat’s antisocial attitude makes this unlikely.
